Pictures sometimes capture more than what words could ever say… And when a picture’s worth a thousand words and more, I say- frame it! My numero uno spot for all framing work- whether it’s pictures, posters, notes and cards, is Capital Art Gallery in Khan Market.

{ Stacks of framed photographs, art, mirrors inside the store }

Run and owned by Vishal Gujral, this store was setup in 1999 by Vishal after his return from a trip abroad where he had a chance to see some beautiful moulds, making frames in all shapes and sizes, colors and designs. He decided to bring this art back home, and over the years has gathered a fantastic collection of frames to suit whatever it is you’re looking at getting framed. That, and a massive fan following, boasting letters from High Commissions of the UK, Australia, US of A, Canada and…. me.

{ There’s a good mix of frames here. The classic designs, ones with an antique finish and some bright colors as well }

I’ve been going to him Capital Art for the past couple of years, and I always find something fitting for the picture in hand- from my graduation day photograph, to a collage made for me by one of my best friends, a ‘Mamma Mia’ poster that takes me back to a very special holiday I took with my mum, and a lovely birthday note my yoga teacher wrote for me, they’re all guarded by a bespoke frame from Capital Art!
