Smoke House Room, Rapid Menu

Smoke House Room, the much talked about {and for all the right reasons} addition to Crescent Mall, has introduced a rapid style menu which is basically a three-course menu plus amuse, soup, petit fours and tea/coffee at just 1500++ inr. The menu features smoked tenderloin carpaccio, pan-seared salmon, olive-oil roasted chicken and a couple of other delicious options.

Where | The Crescent Mall, Lado Sarai {close to Qutab Minar}

When | 25th April- 9th May. This is fine dining at a fraction of the price. Grab this opportunity with both hands and an empty stomach.

Call 8800777074 for reservations.

Dessert Fix | Annapurna Sweets, Yusuf Sarai Market

If, like me, you’re a fan of Bengali sweets, Annapurna is your one-stop-shop for sondesh, mishti doi and rosgulla. This place has been up and running for over 40 years, and if you don’t make it in time, you’ll find their dishes wiped out! I’m a fan of their classic gur sondesh, and kesar sondesh, and a nice matki of mishti doi is just what you need to cool off in this sweltering heat.

Where | 10, DDA Community Centre, Yusuf Sarai Market

When | When you’re craving something sweet, which incidentally happens to be reasonably healthy, and mouth-watering! If you’re a fan of traditional sweets, you’re going to love it.

Enjoy your Weekend, Dilliwaalas :)
