About The Clay Company | TCC is a niche art company,  focused on pottery and ceramics.  Their aim is to make ceramics as an art form, accessible, convenient and fun.  The Clay Company was founded by Aparna Choudhrie in 2011. Aparna, who has spent over 13 years in the Corporate world in leadership roles across with PriceWaterHouse Coopers, GE/Genpact and Infosys BPO, started The Clay Company with a vision to impart ceramic art as a skill & introduce accessibility of this art form.  Having lived the corporate life, and worked in ceramics as a hobby her own artist statement captures her perspective on the art form:

“Clay… infinitely sensitive, sensual, soft yet strong. Clay registers every thought and emotion.  Working with clay is much like ‘life’ itself… one goes from a deep sense of control and power, engagement and even obsession with a piece until it is done, to the ultimate sense of detachment when one finally surrenders it to the supremacy of the kiln – accepting and celebrating the verdict that then emerges!”

Her company endeavors to bring the joy of pottery and ceramics to everyone!
