BOMBAY TALKIES, a play by writer-director Vikram Kapadia

This is definitely not one to miss out on! Ranging from dark humor, satire and pathos, this play captures the life of eight ordinary Mumbaikars. Critically acclaimed at its premier in Mumbai, Bombay Talkies is playing in Delhi this weekend. With actors like Darshan Jariwalla, Zafar Karachiwala, Rasika Duggal, Anahita Uberoi, Ishita Arun and Aditya Rawal recounting the monologues, it seems like a promising hour on stage.

MAKE A DIFFERENCE | ‘DAFA TEEN SAU CHIHATTAR’

The play is based on Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code and explains the issue of Rape and Women Security in today’s society. It’s a fund raising event by Becoming I Foundation and the amazing actors from Expressions Theater group, and the proceeds will go towards the education of hundreds of underprivileged children around Delhi through Becoming I Foundation’s projects.

The idea behind Little Black Book Delhi’s Book Club is to encourage Delhi-waalas to come together and read, learn and get inspired by writers, authors and thinkers from India and all over the world.
